Application Submission
This application must be filled out by any student that wishes to take one or more IB course. Be sure not to close your internet browser when completing the application; your work will not be saved until you hit submit at the very end. Please note that you must complete this application in one sitting, but you are able to edit your responses after submitting.

Archbishop Spalding High School supports the participation of a wide range of students in the IB Diploma Programme. We strive to provide every opportunity for all students to access and thrive in the IB DP. Students who enthusiastically approach learning, appreciate opportunities to use critical and creative thinking skills, and are highly motivated should consider involvement in the IB DP.

Students apply for admission to the IB Diploma Programme during the second quarter of their sophomore year. To apply, students must complete all parts of the application which will then be reviewed by a faculty committee. Students will be contacted to interview with the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator in December and January. Students will be notified of their acceptance into the program prior to course registration in February. Admission into the IB DP is a matching process to determine if the students' skills and goals fit with the offerings of the IB Diploma Programme.

If you have any questions while completing this application, please contact Mrs. Bentzley: bentzleya@spaldinghs.org
