Campus Ministry & Service Hours

Our annual Food Drive begins next Monday, September 10th and finishes Friday, September 21st. We are requesting students bring in non-perishable food items (canned goods, peanut butter, cereal, pasta, pudding cups, etc) to their homerooms to support our annual drive. In our Spalding tradition, to benefit the Anne Arundel County Food Bank and the Little Sisters of the Poor - St Martins Home for the Elderly in Catonsville, let’s provide help to those in most need. Thank you.
Service hours are due Wednesday, September 19th for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Students can check their hours using their Student ID number on the class lists posted on the bulletin board outside the Office of Campus Ministry or on PowerSchool under Campus Ministry/Service. Students should be sure they are up to date with the requirements for their class year. Any student who has not satisfied the minimum hours due will be considered non-compliant and will be ineligible to apply for a parking permit as well as participate and attend all ASHS extra-curricular activities (including athletics, clubs, dances, etc). Freshmen students are not required to submit service hours until September of their Sophomore year but can beginning accumulating service hours during their Freshmen year.
