2026-2027 Winter Sports Tryout Information

Any student who wishes to participate in athletics at Spalding must have the below information completed annually in their Augusts Schools Health Account prior to September 28th.

1. Annual physical completed by parent & physician on Spalding Physical Form

2. Immunization Form (required for incoming freshmen & transfers only)
3. Medication Authorization Form (if applicable)

4. Asthma, Allergy, Diabetes, Seizure plan (if applicable)

All forms must be uploaded directly to the August Schools Health Account which can be accessed through your parent portal - paper or emailed copies will not be accepted. Required Health Forms Uploading Instructions

Tryout dates, times, and locations for each winter sport will be posted below as that information becomes available.

October 1st - MIAA Ice Hockey Tryout Start Date

Boys' Ice Hockey (boysicehockey@spaldinghs.org)
Tryouts will be held at Piney Orchard Ice Rink on Thursday, October 1st from 3:20-5:50pm and Friday, October 2nd from 3:20-5:00pm.

October 26th - Girls' Ice Hockey Tryout Start Date

Tryouts will be held at Piney Orchard Ice Rink on October 26th, 28th, and 29th from 4:30-5:50pm each day.

November 9th - MIAA & IAAM Sports Tryout Start Date
