Spalding Music

The Archbishop Spalding music program aims to provide its members with the opportunities necessary to become well-rounded musicians by establishing an educational environment that respects diverse learning styles, performance styles and practices. The Music Department holds in high regard the concepts of self-discipline, hard work, commitment, and determination. Through performing and responding to music, students develop individual skills, realize a sense of belonging, and establish connections to the community. This active participation encourages students to strive for musical excellence and become life-long participants, intelligent consumers and active patrons and advocates for the arts.
