About Spalding Cheer Camp

The Archbishop Spalding Cheer Program will be hosting its fifth annual Summer Clinic. This camp will cover all facets of cheer, including but not limited to: stunts, tumbling, motions, jumps, flexibility, and endurance. Campers will be divided by age and ability as cheerleaders of all levels will be challenged. Safety mats and a perfection-before progression philosophy will be applied to minimize the risk of injury.

Each session will consist of teaching technique and performance skills. For campers in middle school, instructors will give a recap of skills covered, and an honest assessment of how well that skill was mastered with suggestions on future growth.

For the August camp only, there will be a showcase on the last day for friends and family to watch their camper(s) show off what they learned throughout the week. All campers will receive a t-shirt! This camp begins on time, so please arrive early to make the most of your camp experience!

Camp is held in an air-conditioned facility with a 7-panel cheer mat.  Experienced spotters are provided during stunt and tumbling instruction.
Same as prior unless told otherwise

Camp Director
Lindsey Miller is entering her 18th year coaching at the Varsity level at Archbishop Spalding.  Over the past 19 years, she has worked in all areas of the cheerleading industry: athlete, choreographer, and coach for rec, school, and all star cheerleading programs.  Lindsey feels blessed to be able to share her love of cheerleading every day with people who are as passionate about the sport as she is.
