• 2025-2026 Fall Sports Tryout Information

  Prior to August 1st, ALL students interested in trying out for a fall sport must complete the Athlete Registration Form.  Students will need to complete this form using their school email address (parents will NOT be able to complete this on behalf of their student).
  
  

  Additionally, any student who wishes to participate in athletics at Spalding must have the below information completed annually in their Augusts Schools Health Account.
  
  

  1. Annual physical completed by parent & physician on Spalding Physical Form

  2.  Immunization Form (required for incoming freshmen & transfers only)
  3.  Medication Authorization Form (if applicable)

  4.  Asthma, Allergy, Diabetes, Seizure plan (if applicable)

   

  All forms must be uploaded directly to the August Schools Health Account which can be accessed through your parent portal - paper or emailed copies will not be accepted.  Required Health Forms Uploading Instructions 

  
  Tryout dates, times, and locations for each fall sport will be posted below as that information becomes available.  
  
  August 4th - MIAA Football Tryout Start Date

  Varsity Football Tryouts for all Seniors and Juniors plus select Freshmen and Sophomores notified by staff will be held on Whittles Field from 7:00am to 4:00pm.  Equipment distribution will be held on July 23rd at 3:00pm.

  
  

  Undersquad (JV & F/S) Football Tryouts for Sophomores and Freshman will be held on Whittles Field from 7:00am to 9:30am.  Equipment distribution will be held on July 23rd at 6:00pm.

  
  

  Workouts are recurring throughout the first two weeks. Players who cannot attend equipment should contact Coach Schmitt directly to set up a separate date (schmittk@spaldinghs.org).

  Please note there will be 2 rounds of tennis tryouts for the Fall 2025 Season.
  A preliminary tryout for Freshman & New Players will take place on August 19th, 20th, & 21st from 10:00am-12:00pm @ Crofton Swim & Tennis Club.
  Returning players will begin practicing on August 21st from 10:00am-12:00pm @ Crofton Swim & Tennis.
  All rostered athletes will begin practicing on August 26th.
