  • Skills for Success Camp

    Skills for Success is designed for all grade levels and is taught by three experienced classroom teachers. Students will receive instruction from teachers certified in Social Studies, Math, and English, and all have experience teaching freshmen and upperclassmen.  The small classroom size helps students discover their learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses, which will help improve their academic performance.

  • Engineering

    How can you launch a rocket with a chemical reaction? How can you build and program a robot to follow instructions? How does your hand provide valuable security information? All these questions and more will be answered at Archbishop Spalding’s Cavalier Engineering Camp. Designed for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students, the Cavalier Engineering Camp explores various engineering concepts and careers through hands-on projects and experiential learning. The camp introduces participants to engineering in a fun and exciting environment. Participation occurs under the guidance of Archbishop Spalding High School Project Lead, the WayTM engineering students, and faculty, serving as camp counselors.

  • SAT/ACT

    The Summer 2023 SAT/ACT Bootcamp is designed to prepare students for testing dates in the summer and fall of the 2023-2024 school year. The program consists of 10 sessions each designed to increase each student's aptitude, comfort, and knowledge of the SAT exam.

  • Art Camp

    Students will use multiple arts and crafts media to create many 2D and 3D visual artworks. Exploration of media such as oil pastels, watercolor, and acrylic paints, plaster cast mask-making, printmaking, and process journaling. Students will learn about the elements and principles of design anchored in color theory. Some artworks students will create include mask-making, mandalas, portrait print-making, and process journaling. All tools and supplies are included in the camp tuition. 

    Camp Date/Time: 
    July 10 -14 | 9 am - 4 pm 

    Ages/grades of students who can attend:
    Ages 10 -14 (rising 6th to 9th grade) 

    Price: 
    $300 - this includes funds to buy supplies
    Students will get the following supplies to take home along with their completed art projects: 
    (sketchbook, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolor paint set, drawing pencils, erasers, markers, and a supplies case) 


    Weekly Schedule: 
    • All students should pack a lunch 
    • All Mornings will begin with sketching and completing design challenges in each student's sketchbook. 
    • Mon- Plaster Mask-Making 
    • Tues- Plaster Mask-Making 
    • Wed- Acrylic Mandala making 
    • Thurs- Oil pastel boot camp and Portrait Sketching
    • Fri- Portrait Printmaking
