Important Information about Football Games

Dear Students and Parents,

Spalding football season is upon us! We appreciate our fans’ cooperation and patience as we strive to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.  In addition, we strive to create a positive environment as we practice and model good sportsmanship. 

As part of our ongoing commitment to safety and security, we will continue to work with Anne Arundel County Police Department and follow their recommendations on these matters.  In accordance with their recommendations, Archbishop Spalding will maintain a strict policy regarding items that will not be permitted in the football stadium on Game Days.
  
The following will not be permitted in Whittles Stadium on Varsity Football Game Days/Nights:  
• Backpacks or large bags 
• Outside food or beverages
• Unopened or opened water bottles or other drinking containers
• Artificial noise makers (including boom boxes, speakers, or any other type of audio projection)

Archbishop Spalding strongly encourages fans NOT to bring ANY type of bag to the stadium.  
Other policies to be aware of:
• Fans who act or dress inappropriately will not be tolerated and may be subject to ejection from the stadium. 
• There is a no re-entry policy for Whittles Field during Varsity Football games.  
• Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes or vaporizers, is not permitted on the campus of Archbishop Spalding.
• No pets are allowed on campus. 
• Tailgating is prohibited, unless specifically sponsored by the school.
