Spalding’s Annual Canned Food Drive runs from September 11th – 24th. Students are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items into their homerooms or Campus Ministry. This drive helps our neighbors at the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, as well as the Little Sisters of the Poor who run the St. Martins Home for the Elderly in Catonsville. Last year we collected over 7, 350 food items, and our goal this year is to surpass that number. Items donated should be non-perishable. No glass jars, please. Food items most needed are pudding cups, tuna, soup, canned fruits/vegetables, peanut butter, cereal and pasta. Please contact Nicki Trumpler at email@example.com with questions. Your efforts to help provide food for those in need is greatly appreciated!
