IAAM A Conference champions!!!!!
A big shout out for our girls Cross Country team, this evening in very dramatic fashion, our girls won the IAAM A Conference championship. Lead by Lacey Eden 2nd place overall and Allysa Combs 4th place overall, the girls did not take the lead until the last 800 meters of the 5,000 meter race, winning with a 52 to 56 point victory over Maryvale Prep (low score wins). Many of the girls ran their best times of the year. All of our seniors Marisa Nicole, Erin Jones, Mary Lynch, and Taylor Washington ended their Spalding cross country careers with personal best times.
