Captain John Graziano '08, was an accomplished athlete and had a love for flying his whole life.  He was a member of the basketball, cross-country, and track & field teams.  John was a dear friend to many.  John was a decorated T-38C instructor pilot at Laughlin AFB, TX, and was awarded Air Education and Training Command's "High Flyer" award. As an instructor pilot, he flew 1,010 sorties, amassing 1,130 hours, contributing to the graduation of 306 pilots for the US and seven allied nations.  As a Check Pilot, John flew over 40 student pilot evaluations, critical to the training validation of 122 pilots, the most produced in over a decade.  At the time of his passing, John had just been selected for follow-on training to the F-16.
Lieutenant Jamie Love '77, was an outstanding athlete who knew he wanted to become a Navy officer by the time he was in high school. Jamie played lacrosse, basketball, and baseball and ran cross country.  He was a gifted student with a winning personality who was admired by many.  After receiving his wings as a helicopter pilot, he was stationed at NAS Norfolk; he made two deployments to the Mediterranean and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal.  Jamie then reported to NAS North Island, CA, as an H-46 FRS instructor pilot.  He held jobs as a flight scheduler, NATOPS office, and finally as the H-46 NATOPS model manager.  Jamie was in Air Operations aboard the USS Tripoli when he was lost during Operation Desert Shield.
